About Us

    Leo's was established in 1948 by Panteleone "Leo" Mancieri who had emigrated to the United States in 1927. Leo first came to the U.S. primarily to earn enough money to move back to Italy and open a Grocery store. However, it was rough going early on and Panteleone never seemed to earn enough so he could return to his native Italy.
      By the time the Depression had hit, he decided he would stay and go into business for himself. It took some time but eventually he saved enough to open his own restaurant.
